Description

LUAMTEC Superlite F05 Set 01 Scope

Optimal light quality in the crucial spectra for restoration with exceptionally high UV performance

The Lumatec SUPERLITE F05 is the logical further development of the concept of the mobile, multispectral analysis lamp with exceptionally high UV output. There is now 50% more power available in the UV range, making traces more visible even in unfavorable lighting conditions without having to darken the workshop. Eight of the 10 filter stages have been optimized for dactyloscopy applications, among others. The color red (625nm), which is close to the IR range, is now also available. This is especially important for crack detection. The filter wheel also allows fast switching between the spectral ranges, so that a "scan" of the instrument or the surroundings is possible, e.g. in the case of still unknown traces or for a trueness adjustment on the instrument. The ventilation concept with 3D ventilation channels, which was specially designed for this light source, has been optimized to ensure that almost no stray light escapes that could impair the light quality during analyses. In addition, a foot switch can now be connected for working freely with the instrument in the workshop. In addition, the F05 is also available on request in a version with rechargeable battery for use on the road. Thanks to the latest battery technology, the weight of the new F05 has been reduced by 1 kg compared to the previous version SUPERLITE S 04. The charger has been integrated into the housing and the charging time has also been significantly reduced (0% to 80% in just 1 hour).

  • Connection possibility for a foot switch
  • Battery + charger integrated (on special request with battery, Not included in Set 01!)
  • Lighter (-1 kg )
  • Shorter charging time, 80% reached in 1h

General advantages compared to conventional professional UV lamps

  • professional UV lamps Exceptionally high UV output, traces are more visible even in unfavorable light conditions
  • High contrast due to very low white light content in the UV range
  • 10 filter levels optimized for restoration and instrument analysis
  • Rechargeable battery optionally available for independence from mains power
  • Mobility due to energy efficiency and low weight
  • Patented safety switch prevents accidental manual switch-on
  • Slim, flexible light guides can be used with magnetic safety hand switch
  • Extensive range of accessories for different applications

Available accessories for the LUMATEC F05

  • The flexible light guide 4581.1800, specially developed and patented by Lumatec for the SUPERLITE S04 and F05, has a ring-shaped safety magnetic switch at the light output, which triggers light when pulled back and automatically locks again when released. It can be additionally secured with a clamping ring.
  • Simple light guides without a manual safety switch can also be used; triggering is then possible via the shutter button on the housing.
  • The 15° and 40° collimators attached to the light guide, as well as the diffuser, shape the light cone accordingly and ensure targeted, uniform illumination.
  • The cross-section converter produces stiff light, so that contours are made abundantly clear by strong shading. It is therefore ideal for highlighting burn marks, cracks, wood structure, impressions in dust or traces treated with powder.
  • On the other hand, the Litepad provides homogeneous, diffuse light of different wavelengths from below, e.g. for document inspection.
  • The telescopic arm with ball joint and clip is still included in the scope of delivery and serves either as a stand for mounting the light guide or as an extended arm for guiding the light guide with attached cross-section converter close to the ground.
  • As with its predecessor, a customized, heavy-duty shoulder bag is available as an optional accessory, enabling convenient, mobile forensics directly at the crime scene.
  • For safe transport including extensive accessories to the customer or as a storage box, we recommend the shock and water resistant trolley equipped with special recesses for the SUPERLITE F05.
  • Our colored filter glasses, lorgnette and camera filters, optimized for restoration, enable the detection of fluorescence and are indispensable for the detection and recording of changes in the wood structure, varnish or other defects such as cracks. The spectral loupe with side fiber optic connector, diffuser and cross-section converter can also be used in combination with these filters to examine smaller areas.
  • A camera lens or filters up to 77mm in diameter can be placed directly on the loupe from above, allowing fast, effective documentation of the instrument.
