Description
PENLOC GTI-C glue in 50ml cartridge is a highly transparent 2k two components high-performance structural adhesive for glass, metall and general potting.

Penloc GTI-C is a 2K high-performance structural adhesive (from the automotive sector) based on methacrylate. Penloc GTI-C is characterized by high transparency, excellent flexibility, high power transmission and good temperature resistance.
Ideal for bow building, gluing metal with wood or gluing the tip plate.
Penloc GTI-C should be processed with a Micro-Static mixing nozzle (with gray rim), otherwise there may be color differences in the edge area of the bond. It is also recommended to use the dosing gun for an easy and precise dosing.
Important
For these cartridges the new mixing nozzles with gray rim are needed!!!

Adhesives from the Penloc GTx series are two-component high-performance structural adhesives based on methacrylate. They bond materials such as metal, glass, ceramics, wood and many plastics (with the exception of PE and PP). The Penloc GTx adhesives are universally applicable and easy to process.

Curing
This product is a two-component adhesive. After mixing both components, the adhesive can be cured in the specified ratio at room temperature. The curing times are listed in the table below.
After mixing the components, the adhesive can be processed within the pot life. The time of the double increase in viscosity after the two components have been mixed together is used to determine the pot life.

Surface preparation
The surfaces to be glued should be free of dust, oil, grease or other soiling in order to obtain an optimal and reproducible glue.
We recommend Panacol's IP® cleaner for cleaning. Substrates with low surface energy (e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene) must be pretreated in order to achieve sufficient adhesion.
Adhesive application
Our products are delivered ready to use. Depending on the packaging, they can be dosed by hand directly from the container or semi-automatically or fully automatically. In the case of automated application from the cartridge, the adhesive is conveyed into the dispensing needle using a feed piston operated with compressed air. Depending on the order quantity, different valves are available. In specific cases, please contact our application technology.
Before opening, the cartridge must be placed vertically (tip up) so that trapped air can rise. The cap should be kept for reclosing. With black cartridges, the cap must be opened vertically and firmly on a hard surface. Two pegs drill into the metering channels.
With the “bead on bead” dosing, both components are dosed separately by even pressure on the stamp. When dosing with a Micro-Static mixing nozzle, both components are premixed.
Glue and parts to be joined must not be cold, they must be warmed to room temperature before processing.
