Flexible steel rule for violin making

This flexible steel rule in 30cm & 15cm length is indispensable for violin making. The steel thickness is only 0.2mm, which makes the steel rule extremely flexible, but not "flabby" soft. This makes it possible to measure curvatures, fingerboards and everything that is round precisely.

Conventional metal rulers usually have a printed scale. This has the disadvantage, especially around the edges, that the scale wears off quickly and is no longer legible.

With our steel ruler, the scale is cleanly lasered all the way to the edge. This ensures a long durability and legibility of the scale even under heavy use.

We make sure that our steel scales are precise and straight to the zero line and have soft "scratch-free" edges.
