Shellac Sun made in Germany is a dewaxed high-quality sheath shellac which makes the varnish more glassy and hard.

Shellac Sun is suitable for addition to retouching varnish if the varnish is too soft for the retouching of the instrument in question. Dissolve the light shellac in 99% pure alcohol. This makes the varnish more glassy and harder. The mixing ratio depends on the original varnish to be retouched. This light shellac has a good alcohol solubility and is also very suitable for new buildings.
