This adjusting screw in the Norris version has a finer thread than the standard adjustment mechanism.

Due to the finer thread, the iron can be adjusted finer and slower by turning the screw. In this way, the strength of the chip removal can be adjusted more precisely than with the standard "Norris-Style Adjuster" Norris adjuster.

Instead of the supplied ice-cream plate, it will be installed in your Rauhbank # 7 or all individually configurable planes from Veritas.
