Acne and pimples are mainly known from puberty: during this phase of life, the hormone change promotes the formation of blemishes. But many adults also suffer from hyperactive sebum glands and thus from an increased production of skin fat. The excess skin fat not only makes the skin shine oily, but also clogs the pores and sebaceous glands (comedones). This leads to congestion and the formation of blackheads (acne comedonica). Removing this by pressing or squeezing irritates the skin and literally wears out the pores. The skin fat is broken down by the body - but the breakdown creates free fatty acids that irritate the surrounding tissue and promote inflammation. Once blackheads have formed, the skin is particularly susceptible to additional infections and pimples, nodules (papules) or pustules.

The CBD Clearifying Skin uses high-quality ingredients to stabilize the natural pH of the skin and the skin's immune system. Cannabidiol (CBD) derived from hemp is a valuable component of many modern skin care products because it reduces unwanted skin reactions, supports the regeneration of skin cells and has anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, CBD regulates the production of sebum and thus counteracts the basic problem of oily, blemished skin. This removes the breeding ground for bacterial infections.

With 200 mg CBD, the CBD Clearifying Skin contains a particularly large amount of activated cannabidiol. The complex of active ingredients is supplemented by other skin-care ingredients. Aloe vera soothes the skin and moisturizes it together with hyaluronic acid. Acylphloroglucinols from Acnylis® have an antibacterial effect and thereby reduce the bacterial colonization of certain germs (Propionibacterium acnes). Bisabolol is an anti-inflammatory ingredient derived from chamomile essential oil. Ximenia bark extract (Xymelis 45®) and lavender oil have soothing and skin-soothing properties. Vitamin-rich dog rose seed extract (rosehip) is a proven remedy for skin problems and ensures radiant, even skin. Dexpanthenol promotes skin regeneration.

The selected active ingredients counteract a wide range of skin problems and, through their synergistic interplay, can lead to a lasting improvement in blemished skin. As organic cosmetics, the CBD acne serum is free from paraffin, silicone and mineral oils, PEGs, sulfates and parabens and is therefore particularly kind to the skin.
