The test card for metamerism can be used as often as desired, as the metamerism test strip with the metamerism pairs always adapts to the respective conditions and determines the light quality.

Standard Light - Workspace Test Card with the Light Indicator Strip D50

When you examine, analyse or retouch instruments, the ambient light affects colour perception. If you view instruments under a light, you may fall victim to the metamerism effect. You can use the metamerism tester on the other side of this card to check whether a light source is suitable for viewing instruments. If all the boxes look even, then the light is suitable. If the boxes are displayed in two colours, then the light source is not suitable for viewing.

• Light Indicator Strip D50 uniform green = Light source with approx. 5000K, no metamersim effect.
• Light Indicator Strip D50 showing boxes = Light source without 5000K, clear metamersim effect.

The Metamerism Test Card from SCHILBACH is a practical, sturdy plastic card in credit card format with a slipcase on which an original UGRA Metamerism Test Strip (Light Indicator Strip D50) is applied.
