Specials of the Peg-Box Rasp

The special of this rasp are the compacting tooth sequence towards the flat tip and the short tapered overall shape. The teeth are hewn to the edge. Combined with Vallorbe's high-quality wooden handles, these rasp make it easier to work out and fit the peg-box of violins, violas and cellos. This rasp was invented by Jiaqi Liu at the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City.
