• 365nm UV short: For overall check, retouching, restoration
• 405nm UV long/violet: overall check under dense polish, originality matching,
• 445nm blue: analysis of ground, label identification, original varnish separation
• 620nm red: hair line crack identification, dendrochronology photos
• 850nm: dendrochronology photos under dense varnish (Vienna or British instruments)
• 940nm IR: crack photography, transmitted light photography (worm holes etc.)
