With this adhesive film, any sandpaper can be transformed into a self-adhesive sandpaper with high instant adhesion. This is a pure film made of adhesive without a carrier. You can also coat paper with it without having to wait for it to dry.

"Self sticking sandpaper is very hard to find. The problem with doubletape from the hardware store is that the tape form a 'thick, gelly' film which makes the contact to the wood with a sandpaper file pretty inaccurate. With this tape you feel the direct grinding you transfer from your hand true the sandpaper file, since it is a very thin film that doesn't appear to have any influence. And it seem to stick very well, so can also be used on round files without the paper coming off by itself after a while of laying. It removes easly with heath and leaves no resedu on the surface of the file if you want to change the paper after a while. Our Scotch® ATG Adhesive Transfer Tape 924 features 3M™ Adhesive 400, a medium-firm pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive system. It features an excellent balance of good initial adhesion and good shear holding power. The formulation gives 3M™ Adhesive 400 a consistently strong bond across a range of temperatures. A thin, tough, polyester film carrier between the adhesive layers improves the handling and strength of the tape. By using a robust 55 lb. densified kraft paper release liner, this tape provides reliable performance for industrial applications, such as die-cutting and automated dispensers.
