Description

Addition-curing putty plasta kneading silicone for moulding ✓ Knetosil SK-DENTTEC-PUTTY 95 from SCHILBACH

Putty, plasta, kneading silicone or Knetosil is a type of impression material used in dental technology and mould making. Kentsilicone is a soft, kneadable addition-curing silicone rubber that is quick and easy to process. Our putty plasta - kneadable silicone is very hard in shore hardness A 95 and is suitable as a plaster substitute for moulding and as a fixture additive for round tops/bottoms, frames etc. in violin making.

Putty - Kneadable silicone rubber moulding compound for mould making and violin making

With a working time of 1.2 minutes, you have enough time to place the object to be moulded in the silicone rubber. After 4.5 - 10 minutes, the object can be removed for moulding.

Putty, plasta & kneadable silicone - Knetosil - Silicone rubber in violin making

For quick, clean and easy moulding in violin making and restoration.
In violinmaking, it is often necessary to place clamps. Due to the round shape of the violin, these cannot be placed evenly. With our kneading silicone SK-DENTTEC-PUTTY 95 (putty, plasta), you can easily and quickly compensate for the curvature and apply even pressure to the desired area with the shim. The particularly exceptionally high shore hardness of A 95 does not give way even under high pressure and behaves similarly to gypsum moulds.

No heat emission, so no problems for the delicate varnish of your instrument.

Putty, plasta & kneadable silicone - Knetosil - Silicone rubber in dental applications

In the dental field, kneading silicone, putty or silicone rubber is often used to create negative moulds of teeth and other objects, which can then be used to create positive moulds. There are different types of putty, plasta, silicone rubber, or kneading silicone, including hard and soft varieties, as well as different colours and degrees of hardness. It is important to ensure that the silicone chosen is suitable for the intended application. Very hard wrought silicone in Shore hardness A 95 is suitable as a plaster substitute for moulding and as a ferrule additive for round tops/bottoms, ribs etc. in violin making.
